Order this webserviceFrom €15,-The address webservice gives you real-time access to addresses in more than 200 countries. The Dutch database alone contains more than 8.2 million delivery points and is the most comprehensive and up-to-date address database.
The main address data and applications are shown in the overview below.
Postcode-house number check
Just enter the postcode and house number and receive back real-time a complete address. The address database (containing 7.2 million addresses) is updated weekly, so you always have the most recent addresses at your disposal.
Enrich PO Boxes with street address
Webservices.nl knows the PO Box address and the street address of more than 90% of all PO Boxes in the Netherlands.
If you enter a PO box address, for example, it is possible in many cases also to provide the street address. This instantly gives you both addresses, i.e. the street address and the correspondence address.
XY address
It is possible to convert the XY coordinates immediately to an address both at postcode level and at house number level.. It is useful way of showing addresses on a map. Webservices.nl also knows the exact XY (and RD) coordinates of every location in the Netherlands.
Validate addresses
Sometimes elements of an address are missing, such as a postcode or an official name of a municipality.
The address webservice adds the missing address details and also the correct address. The notation (e.g. P.C. Hooftstr.) will be converted to the official standard address (Pieter Cornelisz. Hooftstraat).
Neighbourhood names with municipality name
Intensive use is made in the Netherlands of neighbourhood names (like Jordaan and Kralingen). In some cases (as with Scheveningen) these addresses are considered municipality names.
In the postcode address database, we have a translation to the official municipal name of a large number of neighbourhoods or districts.
International adresses
More than 300 million addresses in more than 200 countries can be validated. This data comes from organisations including national postal companies (including Royal Mail, La Poste and Deutsche Post).
